Our Vintage Hill style bows are shaped after the early bows by famous bowyers of days passed.
Extremely narrow, (28 mm, just over an inch) at the widest point to just under half an inch at the string groove. 4 layers of tempered bamboo in front of the hardwood Oak Riser. NO bamboo goes over the fades on the riser. Did we mention a vintage look? This is all wedged in between Gordon's Bo-Tuff ULS glass. The best there is.
The nocks are re-enforced with a thin sliver of Antler, and tiny, really small. not for the fainthearted. Don't stump 'm in the dirt and break 'm.
The grip is per sec straight. no locater, no pistol, just straight and narrow, giving you pressure in the hand where it should. covered in a glued-on, reverse polished leather. Nice to hold. (A naked version is also an option, please let us know)
We sprayed this Rebel with a semi-gloss 2 k varnish.
