LAMINATED ALB BOW, 71 INCH NTN, 40 LBS @ 28 inch

A laminated American style longbow. Build with well known and proven bow woods. Madake Bamboo in the backing, Ipe as belly wood, and an extra Laburnum riser making room for a shallow pistol grip.

The bow has an arrow pas mark on both sides of the bow making it fit for both left and right-handed archers.

This bow has been glued up with a touch of reflex deflex, just enough to enhance speed, but still being legal as a longbow or (or historical bow in the Netherlands)

The Bamboo is still showing as the characteristic nodes, as we only barely scraped off the wax layer leaving a very nice primitive look. The Snakewood nock overlays only add to the looks.

Treated with several layers of Danish oil over a layer of polyurethane varnish,  it has a nice shine and patina to it.
The bow is supplied with a flemish double looped Fastflight string.
