gripOur Vintage Hill style bows are shaped after the early bows by famous bowyers of days passed.
Extremely narrow, (28 mm, just over an inch) at the widest point to just under half an inch at the string groove. 3 layers of real Supercore (bamboo) in front of the Yew-wood Riser. Did we mention vintage look? This is all wedged in between Fairbow green glass. The best there is.
A straight glu-up. reliable, smppth and easy to shoot. And a pleasure to shoot!
The nocks are re-enforced with a thin sliver of cow horn, and tiny, really small. not for the fainthearted. Don't stump 'm in the dirt and break 'm.
The grip is per sec straight. no locater, no pistol, just straight and narrow, giving you pressure in the hand where it should. Upon request covered in a glued on, reverse polished leather. Nice to hold. (A naked version is also an option, please let us know)
We sprayed this Rebel with a semi gloss 2 k varnish.
