Handcrafted Bows

Fairbow supplies bows made according to your specific wishes. Bows usually in stock are listed here in our webshop.

In general, bows are measured at 28-inch drawlength, warbows are measured at both 28 and 32-inch drawlength. (stated drawweight is usually at 32 inch)
All bows come with a fitting string. Depending on the bow ordered we decide if that is a flemish string, endless string (with served loops) Fastflight or B-50 Dacron.

Unless otherwise requested all finished bows are varnished with a tough and durable high gloss finish, this protects your bow well from the elements and shows all the details in the used woods.
If you can not find your new bow listed send us an email and we will make your bow for you. When ordering please state requested drawlength and drawweight.

Please allow up to 30 weeks delivery time for made to measure bows.

English longbows and English warbows are tillered to come round compass and thus bend through the grip area just as was done in medieval times.

Primary bows are floortillered staves and need tillering and finishing of the bow.
Basic bows have been tillered and require sanding and a finish to protect it from the elements.
Excellent bows are finished, fully varnished and have a leather grip but do not have horn nocks.
Superior bows have it all, varnish, leather grip, strikeplate/arrowpass, hornnocks etc.

All fully finished Fairbows come with at least a (walk-in) FULL year Full warranty!
Specific models (Rebel, Vertex, Renegade etc) come with lifetime warranty. Our bows are built to last.
