Floor tillered stave or Primary stave , 48" Native American Indian 'Paddle' bow.
Modeled after the Northwest Indian paddle bow famous for its short yet powerful stature. This short bow has the ability to take down large game in very confined areas. Predominantly used in the Cascade mountain range for centuries this little bow became one of the most effective hunting tools in the Northwest area's because of the tight brush.
A Full 2 1/2" wide at the widest points made this little bow a stable and quick shooter in tight areas. Does not come with tip overlays or tip overlay pieces.
Maximum recommended draw length is 24" and below. These bows were mainly shot with a floating anchor with short arrows and were surprisingly accurate, once a person gets familiar with the different shooting style.
Primair bow, not tillered, just shaped. You can immediatly start with tillering, we have done the heavy cutting for you.
