Ultreya's modern Holmegaard. A modern interpretation of the ancient tradition of Holmegaard/Möllegabet designs. We call it the "Cesair" ("Hailstorm" in Cymraeg, the old Celtic language).
This bow has been made by our friends in Germany, "Ultreya". Although Fairbow did not make the bow, we are very happy to be allowed to sell these bows.
This bow is 66 inch ntn. The bow does not stack and we can see a nice dip in the FD curve, a beneficial effect from the stiff flat siyahs (or ears) which have been made very narrow to save weight. But they remain stiff to assist your draw by improving the string angle, resulting in a very easy smooth draw,
These bows, with this length, do a 30 inch draw, although we think they perform best at 26-29 inch.
Upon request different woods can be used. A window and shelf have been cut in for comfort, but other profiles are feasible as well.
This beauty has hornbeam center and nock overlays in stark contrast to the black glass on the back, caramelised tapered Supercore cores, a stacked riser and nice birdseye maple veneer under a clear glass belly.
